What does that mean? Living a life with intention. To me, it means taking care of all of your obligations, plus living the life that you've always wanted to live. Not that made up life of dreams, but really going for what you want and creating a plan around it. Since we've left NYC, I've decided that I need to make a living no matter where we go and in this vast digital world, as long as you have an internet connection, you can do that anywhere. So, in living my life with intention, I am developing my textile design business. Although small and not really profitable at the moment. I expect I can, and will be able to make a living off of it. Because, I will make it so. Because I will put in the work and do the research. I have the creative part down. I can spend days on end doodling and creating new patterns in photoshop and illustrator. Now I am putting in the work on the business end. Figuring out what I need to prepare and who I need to reach out to. I'm currently taking e-courses and reading books. I know that this may be a slow burn, but it is something I love. If anything, I have learned that you have to love what you do.
