What inspires your design style? For me, it's a number of different things. Nature, food, music and sometimes an outfit. I find that my personal style definitely influences my design. This outfit is perfect for the weather in Brazil right now. We are heading into fall so it's getting a bit more chilly. I found this on Pinterest and then it took me here. It's a great tumblr page with some really great fashion ideas.

Seeing as it isn't super hot but not cold either, it got me thinking about outdoor spaces. We are currently in an apartment but hope to be in a house soon. Our dream is to have a backyard with a barbecue. Hubby is a grill fanatic! He once tried to figure out how to install a grill in one of the windows of our third floor walk-up!

This is an Urban Oasis designed by Istudio Architects based in Washington, DC. I love a good functional outdoor space. It's perfect for morning coffee or dinner. I love the flower boxes and the seating on the back wall. I think the only thing I would change is that I would make more of an outdoor kitchen instead of that dinky grill. Either way it's a great space. Bravo!!
